Vegetarian Cuisine

I have a sore throat and I'm pretty tired. I will keep this update fairly brief :( Today in class we focused on vegetarian cuisine. My group made falafel with hummus, tzatziki, and a slaw on the side (photo above). I focused on the falafel, which turned out fairly well, but certainly can't compete with some of my favorite falafel joints! I also tried some Szechuan tofu today which was surprisingly good (considering the general gross-out factor that follows thoughts of tofu, seitan, etc).

I also made some really yummy food outside of class these couple of days and will post recipes, photos, etc at a later time. Have a nice weekend everyone!
